These are my running medals. Something that I’m most proud of from a couple of years of running. Running can make you feel so much better when you do something like that, accomplishing something, and exercising and endorphins. The health benefits and I was in the best shape of my life. A year ago St. Patrick’s Day, I was training for Boston last April but I cut my training way back. I did run still a little bit last summer. I was running 55 miles a week but cut it way down. I would have a hard time with 5.5 miles now. I didn’t think I could quit smoking, but I did; never thought I could run, but I did; never thought I could do a race, but I did. I suppose it is about doing things I never thought I could do, but I did. Anyone can do anything that they put their mind too. I think everyone should run. I’m not joking, if I can do it, I think anyone can and it is so good for people.
