This is a brick pavement that is located downtown in my hometown. It has their names and date from when they were married of my parents. The fact that the brick is still there, it is a permanent thing that the marriage is no longer. They are divorced. There are always going to be physical reminders of when bad things have happened. There will always be triggers of bad memories. This can remind people that it doesn’t have to be a negative reminder even though it may be a reminder for you but that it is in the past and it doesn’t have to hurt you anymore.
