Humanizing the Lived Experience of Mental Illness Through Photography

Snap the Stigma is an engagement project developed for the entire NDSU campus community to de-stigmatize and humanize issues related to mental illness.

Kevin Hines is a suicide survivor and suicide prevention speaker.
He survived jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge in 2000 in a suicide attempt.
He is one of only thirty-six (less than 1%) to survive the fall and he is the only Golden Gate Bridge jump survivor who is actively spreading the message of living mentally healthy around the globe.
